As the nation passes the six month mark in Covid quarantine, people continue to adjust and find creative ways to have fun. The dance music community utilized festival and artist live streams in lieu of in-person events, but keeping up with the options is tough.
Relax and surf through our picks for this week’s virtual performances. These are FA groove approved. We’ve also compiled a list of our recent digital sets that are worth rewatching.

Abracadabra Festival 2.0
Don’t miss Abracadabra Virtual Festival Thursday to Sunday, Sept. 17 to 20. The four-day digital event, created by BLOND:ISH and hosted live from the historic Los Angeles Theatre, prides itself on being more than just a music festival: The event will also feature wellness, magic, workshops with environmental thought-leaders and more. The online festival boasts an impressive musical lineup including Diplo, Nicole Moudaber, DJ Snoopadelic, Destructo and, of course, BLOND:ISH. The festival will raise money for Bye Bye Plastic, Parley for the Oceans and Lonely Whale.

EXIT Festival Presents Life Stream
EXIT Festival partnered with the United Nations World Food Programme to present Life Stream. Earlier this month, numerous acclaimed acts recorded sets from mts Dance Arena that will be streamed Thursday to Sunday, Sept. 17 to 20. This will be the first of two weekends that broadcast the performances. This week features sets by Black Coffee, Carl Cox, Nina Kraviz and more.

The Next Wave
Mind-Matter will present The Next Wave on Friday, Sept. 18. The broadcast will feature sets by Monophase, Senses of Mind, Symmetric & Future of Matter and The Element. This will be the second installation in the three-part streaming series that showcases upcoming talent in melodic techno.
